Sena Yang
Born and raised in Seattle, Sena has been in the Fashion industry for over two decades. With a fine arts background she created embellishment and embroidery designs at Alexander McQueen in London and Catherine Malandrino in New York City. She also had her own Contemporary Women's Collection SENA and Activewear line Asteria Active that sold at retailers globally.
With a strong belief in the importance of Art & Design Education, she has taught Design workshops at the Cooper Hewitt, Smithsonian Design Museum as well as DesignPrep at the Metropolitan Museum of Art and the Boys and Girls Club of Harlem. As a child, she fondly remembers when "the Picture Lady" would come to her classroom and present famous works of art that left a lasting impression on her.
Sena is both a Rep and Art Docent while also serving on the Board as Webmaster and Paintings Curator. ARTPOP has been an incredible community and organization for continuing this shared love of the arts with her children and school. Sena has a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Apparel Design from The Rhode Island School of Design and loves making kimchi and hanboks when she can.
