Jiwon joined ARTPOP as a parent and school representative for Hawes in 2024. Born and raised in Seoul, Korea, she moved to the U.S. as a teen and discovered the power of art as a creative bridge for communication and connection while navigating a new language and culture. 

As a mom, Jiwon loves diving into creative adventures with her kids, whether it’s painting, sculpting, or just letting their imaginations run wild. She also has a deep appreciation for children's books, seeing picture books as a beautiful intersection of storytelling and visual expression.

Professionally, Jiwon is a child psychologist dedicated to supporting children and families in their emotional growth and identity development. She is excited to share her love for art and storytelling with young artists through ARTPOP!
